Organizations

Manage your Stamp0 organization. Create and configure organizations, switch between multiple orgs, and manage settings.

Organizations are the top-level container for all your Stamp0 resources. Use them to separate different companies, clients, or environments.

Creating an Organization

Sign Up

When you first sign up for Stamp0, you'll be prompted to create an organization:

  1. Enter an organization name (e.g., "My Company")
  2. Choose a unique slug (e.g., my-company)
  3. Click Create Organization

Configure Settings

After creation, configure your organization:

  1. Go to Organization Settings
  2. Update the name if needed
  3. View your organization ID

Multiple Organizations

You can belong to multiple organizations. This is useful for:

  • Managing different companies
  • Separating client projects
  • Having personal and work accounts

Switching Organizations

Use the organization switcher in the sidebar:

  1. Click on your organization name
  2. Select from your available organizations
  3. Or click Create Organization to add a new one

Creating Additional Organizations

  1. Click the organization switcher
  2. Select Create Organization
  3. Enter the name and slug
  4. Click Create

Access settings via Organization Settings in the sidebar.

Updating Organization Name

  1. Go to Organization Settings → General
  2. Update the Organization Name
  3. Click Save

Deleting an Organization

Warning: Deleting an organization is permanent and cannot be undone. All projects, inboxes, emails, API keys, and member associations will be deleted.

To delete an organization:

  1. Go to Organization Settings → General
  2. Scroll to Danger Zone
  3. Click Delete Organization
  4. Confirm by typing the organization name
  5. Click Delete

Before deleting:

  • Export any data you need
  • Notify team members
  • Update any CI/CD pipelines using organization API keys

Best Practices

Organization Tips:

  1. Use descriptive names for easy identification
  2. Create separate organizations for different clients
  3. Use the same organization for all environments (prod, staging, dev)
  4. Keep API keys organized by purpose
  5. Review member access regularly

Naming Conventions

Good organization names:

  • Acme Corp
  • My Startup
  • Client - Big Tech Co

Good slugs:

  • acme-corp
  • my-startup
  • client-big-tech
